The guest spent about a week at a Kentucky property where others reported semi-habituated animals. Midweek, from a house, he observed an upright figure partly hidden in a fencerow rocking side to side, seeing a shoulder and head-like shape. When a resident approached with food, the figure turned and walked into the forest, swinging a large arm backward.

A couple went ginseng hunting in woods behind their home on a summer morning. The husband heard brush movement across a ditch and then saw a hair-covered figure from the chest up watching them from 20 to 30 feet away. After watching for several minutes, the couple slowly left uphill while the figure continued to observe, and the wife also saw it as they left.

While walking out on a remote logging road after discovering flat tires, the witness confronted a black bear that kept approaching despite shouting. A large hairy biped rushed down the hill on all fours, landed in the road and slid, causing the bear to flee. The biped then stood, stared, and bluff-charged twice with loud vocalizations until the witness fled on foot and was later picked up by drivers in a pickup.

The witness and a companion heard something moving in cedar trees at night that appeared to follow parallel as they returned to the house.
