The witness was lying awake in a tent at a restricted lakeside camp around midnight when she heard slow, rhythmic footsteps circling the campsite for about 45 minutes. The walker paused near food areas, approached another tent when a child cried, and left after a car alarm sounded, stepping over a fence into the woods. She never opened the tent to look and concluded from the stride and sounds that it was not human.

In November 2022 the witness took a young child deer hunting and sat against a tree on a ridgeline at dawn. After hearing a loud baby-like cry and a heavy barreling sound down the cliff, the witness saw a large black-haired bipedal creature stop nearby, appear angry, then soften, gesture with its hands, back away, and leap up the cliff out of sight. The witness left with the child and later found large marks where the creature had climbed.

The witness arrived before daylight to deer hunt from a ground blind near a road above a steep slope. From inside the blind he heard coyotes, then hollering, rock-banging or wood-knock sounds, and whoops as something ran up the slope, crossed the road, and stopped in thick brush behind him. He then heard loud raspy breathing and growling and smelled a strong obnoxious odor for about five minutes before the animal ran away along the treeline and the woods went quiet.

Later he followed a bear trail over a ridge where a dark creature came at him on all fours within 10 feet, then silently backed away without turning and hunkered down. That night bipedal footsteps approached his creek-side camp then retreated, and he felt urged to leave the next morning.

During the night and again after dawn they repeatedly heard a loud aggressive exhale-like sound nearby, along with footsteps and branches breaking as something moved through the forest, followed by scream-like sounds that turned into chatter. In daylight they found a matted vegetation bed, a fresh flattened trail, and footprints in mud where the sounds had come from. The entity itself was never seen.

Birds, an owl, and distant dogs vocalized during the sequence, which ended with a long wail, after which the woods went quiet. The pair left the area the next morning.

The witness was riding a bicycle on trails behind the house on a summer day. After hearing stomping noises and then a loud deep vocalization, the witness stopped and saw a large hairy figure about 20 feet away hitting a tree. Two brothers parked for a late-night talk on a forest road when heavy footsteps surrounded the car on several sides and powerful growls approached the rear. After repositioning the car in moonlight they saw a dark shape shifting in a tree, heard heavy breathing, and watched a very tall muscular dark creature cross the road and peer from behind a stump. A second slender gray creature leapt across the road, the large one dropped to all fours and left, and the brothers later realized hours had passed.

After the figures continued circling the camp, the two packed the tent without breaking it down and drove away around 4 a.m.

They felt uneasy and left for the night. The next morning the wife found a very large human-like footprint with partial prints on the shore and kept a broken cast of it.

Two companions playing golf drove up to the 17th green in the afternoon and saw a tan, 6-foot animal leap outward from a high tree branch nearby. It landed hard with a loud thud that shook the tree and moved into low undergrowth, where it was heard taking a few steps before stopping and staying hidden. The witnesses felt it was too large, heavy, and tailless to be a mountain lion or bear and suggested it could have been a juvenile Sasquatch.

The witness became stranded alone when a car sank in soft sand on a remote forest road. While digging out the tires, the witness was struck by a thrown rock, then heard movement, footsteps and loud hissing vocalizations from the surrounding brush. A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

The next morning a previously intact rotten stump across the river was found split with half lying at the river's edge.

The guide was sleeping alone in a hammock set apart from his crew when he awoke to sobbing sounds and heavy bipedal footsteps moving through camp. A large presence stopped beside his hammock breathing heavily, and when he threw off his tarp his hand struck a tall muscular very hairy chest before the creature fled crashing through thick brush. No tracks were found on hard ground but the path through the brambles was clearly visible.
