Possible ongoing activity at a farmhouse outside Torrington
The witness reports ongoing nighttime disturbances at a rural home shared with a spouse. Strange noises begin at dusk and continue through the night, with knocking, dragging and loud thumps on the house and high windows recurring every couple of months. An investigator later noted additional whoops, chatter and wood-knocks from the timber line and cattle becoming agitated late at night. The witnesses state they have never seen the source and no tracks have been found.

In daylight they found a matted vegetation bed, a fresh flattened trail, and footprints in mud where the sounds had come from. The entity itself was never seen.

During the afternoon he heard a loud wood knock outside his tent, and that night he heard chatter, a barrel being banged, loud bipedal footsteps circling, and breathing right beside the tent. After a quiet interval he heard an unexplained electronic sound outside at 4 a.m. He left the next morning convinced the group was still present.

The witness was driving slowly while road hunting in a gated clearcut area before dark. A large black figure stood up about 15 feet away on a steep downhill slope, showed agitated movements and cheek puffing, muttered and then screamed before leaving over a stump downhill. About an hour later the witness returned with two companions and all three heard pounding on trees and mumbled vocalizations before leaving.

The witness was bow-hunting deer from a tree stand at dusk when deer ran through the creek below after a scream and thump. After climbing down to investigate, he smelled strong body odor, heard tapping and vocal sounds coming from two directions, and had acorn-like objects thrown at him. He then briefly saw a large dark figure watching him from cover before fleeing the area and never returning.

A couple picnicking by a creek at dusk heard a loud howl from downstream with gibberish-like barking between howls, then an answering howl from the ridge behind them. Cattle downstream moved upstream away from the sound. They left at dark, drove downstream toward the first howl location, saw a buck fleeing the creek bottom, and found no people at creek access areas.

After a deep growl and handgun shots, they were confronted at the treeline by two large hairy figures that stomped, rocked, and threw branches. They slowly backed out while keeping the gun pointed, then heard a loud whinny-like shout as they left.

The witness was deer hunting from an old tree stand on a mountain crest in the morning and dozed off. A strong odor and rustling woke the witness to see a small reddish-brown hair-covered biped below eating discarded fruit. A much larger black hair-covered biped then approached vocalizing, the two interacted and appeared to notice the witness before leaving, and a hunting companion nearby also reported seeing a large upright figure moving fast through trees.
Possible Nightime Encounter In Wharton State Forest
When the witness was 14, he camped alone in a forested area and noticed something in the brush paralleling him as he returned to camp near dark. The presence circled the camp and later approached the tent, producing an extremely loud scream followed by growls and chatter, then retreated after the frightened witness yelled back. The witness stayed awake all night, left at first light, and never saw what made the sounds.

A very large hairy figure approached on its belly then stood to about nine feet, displaying threatening behavior. The witness and several friends camped on family land in South Florida near the national park. At night they heard hisses, tree knocks and whoops, saw strange lights, then saw a group of large hairy bipeds that threw rocks, injured a friend, threw a large dog, and chased the group as they fled on ATVs. The next day the camp was found destroyed and the dog was found dead.

She watched six very large, hairy bipeds come around a cove, with a large male wading while others handled seaweed on the sand. After her camera gear clattered on rocks, the male approached and argued vocally with a female before threatening her, after which she lost consciousness.

Two cousins were bass fishing from a small boat late in the afternoon when bowling-ball sized rocks were thrown toward them from shore. After motoring to an island to confront who they thought was a person, a very large black hairy biped stepped out, screamed, charged and struck one cousin, breaking ribs and puncturing a lung, then threw a log that cut his chin. The creature reappeared, swayed and made clicking mouth sounds, then leapt about twenty feet and ran away on all fours for several hundred yards in seconds.
