Close-range multi-witness sighting 3 miles west of Lawrenceburg
A couple driving home at night turned onto their rural street and saw a dark-haired ape-like animal in the headlights a few feet ahead. The animal avoided the lights and bounded quickly on its forelimbs in a gorilla-like manner across a neighbor's lawn before disappearing. Both adults observed the movement, though only the husband saw its fingered hands picking at the ground.

After hearing odd noises and corn stalks breaking for some time while dogs reacted defensively, they heard a loud scream and saw a tall hair-covered humanoid emerge from the cornfield across the road. The witness was bow hunting for deer from a tree stand in the morning and then walked out through a dry lake/river bed. While walking below a brushy shelf, he heard grunting and growling from the tree line and observed trees being shaken. The unseen animal kept pace with him as he hurried away, and he never saw what made the sounds.

In the early morning the witness was at a rental mobile home property with his wife to check on tenants and let dogs out. The dogs refused to leave the porch while reacting to movement in an adjacent tobacco field. The witness saw a large hunched furred figure with a rounded back in the field and a smaller figure moving away, and heard exchanging chuffing vocalizations and a distressed mewling sound from the field and from across the road near a creek. The figures moved toward tall grass and the tree line, a tree across the road shook as if climbed, a musty odor was noticed, and mashed grass trails were found the next morning.

The witness was working horses near the barn on an overcast afternoon when the mares looked toward the woods. The witness saw an upright light-grey figure at the tree line, first thought to be a teenager in a heavy coat, but noted long hair-like covering and non-human swaying. The figure disappeared within 10 to 15 seconds without being seen walking away.
