Sasquatch sighting near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (1921)
A woman saw a four-foot object moving along a rear fence and fetched a neighbor, who shot it with a shotgun and saw it drop. When approached, it jumped to hind legs and chased the shooter back into the house, then left toward another town. Strange footprints were later reported nearby.

Sasquatch sighting near Coal Valley, Pennsylvania (1897)
A homeowner saw a hair-covered ape-like or very old man-like being come up to his porch and look in the window while walking on hind legs. When he went for a gun, it bounded over the porch railing and disappeared into the woods.
