Family has frequent visitors at their home near Ocean Park
The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

Two companions camping with a companion's child heard ape-like calls and slow loud knocks near a creek in the evening and knocked back with logs. Rocks were thrown into camp, and at night something bipedal walked around and brushed the tent while making sniffing sounds at the seams. The activity continued over several days with more distant knocks that seemed to approach, another large rock landing near the witness, and an ice chest found opened.

On Halloween night the friend, the witness and the friend's son went into Rock Creek Canyon playing calls. They heard creatures trailing on both sides, humming growling, a large boulder splash in the creek, saw eyeshine of a very tall figure, then found a mature deer with a leg twisted and left quickly.

On a later solo effort, the witness used camouflage and sound cover to approach close to a group. He took still photos of a female with a camera set for night use, producing poor images. After being pulled from concealment by the ankle, he was struck by a thrown rock and then nearly hit by a boulder when trying to reach the photo site, so he withdrew.

After the night encounter the witness and others returned over about fifteen years to look for tracks, set game cameras, and leave items. The same crippled female was heard, smelled, and twice seen, shook brush, threw objects when angry, tore down a camera tree, liked squeaky toys which she broke and lined up, and watched a dog fetch before disappearing after a road and well brought more people.
