The witness was lying awake in a tent at a restricted lakeside camp around midnight when she heard slow, rhythmic footsteps circling the campsite for about 45 minutes. The walker paused near food areas, approached another tent when a child cried, and left after a car alarm sounded, stepping over a fence into the woods. She never opened the tent to look and concluded from the stride and sounds that it was not human.

Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

The activity continued over several days with more distant knocks that seemed to approach, another large rock landing near the witness, and an ice chest found opened.

The witness set out alone on a multi-day hike through swamp trail and camped overnight in a hammock. During the night the camp was surrounded by unseen figures making vocalizations, knocks and walking sounds, and a food bag was knocked down. The next day the witness found large tracks, then encountered large dark hairy figures on and near the trail, one of which followed closely. The witness fled in panic to a highway rest stop and required medical care, reporting lasting distress and nightmares.

He describes it as jet black with shorter hair, a bare face, and enormous chest and shoulders. It took a step with arm swing and hid behind three oaks, peeking out until the friend also glimpsed it.

After a spirit medium visited and the brothers commanded the beings away in prayer, activity at the house stopped, and related incidents included a vanishing woman, cloaking, and trail cameras failing when food was taken.
