Silhouette in Arkansas (2011)
While road hunting with a spotlight, the witness and a friend spotted eyes and a dark silhouette in a field and the friend shot it with a .22. It did not flee but rocked side to side, screamed extremely loudly, and stepped toward them. They left when another truck approached. Next day they found blood and realized it had stood in a deep ditch, implying tall height.
Sasquatch sighting near Snyder County (1920)
A week after the first sighting the same animal was found in a cornfield and shot with a small-caliber rifle. It fell and rolled, then the boy and his father followed a blood trail some distance but could not overtake it.
Scary encounters outside a rural home near Jackson
The witness and a companion were camping in a tent on the witness's driveway in mid-October. Around 2 a.m. under a full moon, the witness awoke to grunting and snapping trees and saw a large hair-covered figure striking and eating a deer, then dragging it uphill. The figure approached the tent, giving off a strong musky odor and knocking a frying pan from a tree before leaving. In the morning the witness found deer remains, drag marks, and a shelter-like structure of bent and broken pines.
