Knocks returned in the afternoon while hiking at Loew Lake
The witness and a relative hiked for about two hours looking for Sasquatch sign and photographed two possible stick structures. While heading back, the witness struck a stick to make wood knocks and heard replies that matched his signals, first one knock, then three, then rapid knocking. He answered with rapid knocks, after which the sounds stopped and further knocking got no response. Both individuals heard the exchange and thought it was either another person or a Sasquatch.
Married couple has possible daytime sighting while boating on Lake George
On a sunny mid-afternoon in June 2015, the witness and a companion were motoring slowly in a boat along the eastern shore of Lake George. They noticed movement near the shoreline and saw a very large dark upright object that briefly raised an arm and moved behind conifer trees. The observation was very brief and lacked detail, but both were convinced it was not a black bear.
Howls heard on Buck Mountain, 10 miles east of Whitehall
A couple left the trail to take photos by a creek. They heard loud deep roaring, scream-like and growl-like vocalizations approaching from across the creek, along with large branches breaking, and believed something was circling them. After the sounds stopped they felt watched, fled down the trail, and heard a large animal tracking them along the creek.
Bicycling student has night encounter
Late at night the witness stopped under a streetlight while biking back to school to fix a brake. He heard loud bipedal footsteps approaching, then saw a white-haired gorilla-like creature about 20-25 feet away. The creature chased him briefly, moving bipedally and on its knuckles, before stopping, swaying, and climbing over a rock wall. The witness rode to a nearby house and waited until morning.
Wood knock near Mount Vernon, Illinois
Relatives outside north of the house heard tree knocking from the treeline, noticed a quick-dissipating skunk-like smell and agitated geese, and saw red eye-shine across the pond.
