Exec on business trip has sighting from balcony of hotel near Huntsville
From a sixth-floor hotel balcony before dawn, the witness watched a tall hair-covered biped for five to six minutes at a distance. The being stared, rocked side to side, and repeatedly leaned to pull bark from a large pine tree. Afterward the witness fetched security and later returned in daylight to find fresh bark, deep ground indentations, and possible scat.

The witness reported rounding a sharp curve on a two-lane road at night with headlights illuminating a standing figure on the roadside very close to the car. The figure appeared hunched and swung its arms in a manner the witness interpreted as angry or about to jump into the road. A daughter was also in the car during the encounter that lasted several seconds.

The witness was walking at night with a flashlight to fetch ice when dogs began barking loudly. A very large hair-covered biped ran from behind a house toward the woods, then rushed to the road edge, stared with glowing eyes and made a loud growling sound. The witness screamed and fled home, and a search the next day found no tracks.
