They retreated inside as stones continued to strike the cabin on multiple sides. The father then saw a large dark figure run bipedally across the driveway, and impacts on the cabin walls continued late into the night.

The witness and a companion were night fishing from a boat off a wooded shoreline when large rocks began landing in the water near their lures. The witness and two companions were scouting for deer season by a creek near a cedar swamp when they heard an unfamiliar low growl. After the witness threw stones toward the sound, they saw a dark upright shadow moving at the swamp edge and rocks were thrown back toward them. Hearing further growls and large branches breaking, the group left quickly for their vehicle.

A loud, eerie, almost human-like scream came from within about 50 yards through heavy vegetation and trees. When he tried to shut his front door, something held it open against his push. After others went to the water and noticed many crayfish, the group heard thumps by the fire, found the fire logs disturbed and later the tent support bent, then left the camp that night and did not return.

Two siblings camped in a remote forest clearing and heard movement, a log being turned, then three extremely loud long screams from about 100 yards away. They hid in their tent, and in the middle of the night the witness heard unintelligible deep speech-like talking very close outside. In the morning they found large barefoot prints behind a bush and later found their tent flipped over when they returned.

Late at night at home, the witness and three companions heard banging on the deck and went outside to investigate. In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. The group later heard low growling and groaning, and the following afternoon the witness found a large footprint in a nearby sandbox.

After retrieving his shotgun he heard the screen door slam and searched outside without seeing anyone. He waited several minutes but it never surfaced, then found a fresh bare footprint with clear toe detail at the water's edge.

They all fled up a hill while it chased and vocalized, later finding the ramp burned from a knocked candle and snacks shredded.
