The creature reappeared, swayed and made clicking mouth sounds, then leapt about twenty feet and ran away on all fours for several hundred yards in seconds.

The witness was camping with her sister and grandparents when her grandfather shouted for everyone to get inside the camper and grabbed his gun. Something large screamed next to the camper, rocked it, and pushed it toward the water while the children hid under a blanket. The grandfather drove out, and men at a nearby store examined dents and muddy handprints on the camper.

The witness was riding as a passenger late at night while his partner drove north on the interstate. A fast, hairy creature ran along the median, cut across in front of the vehicle, then ran alongside it and brushed the side before leaving. Both occupants watched it in the headlights for several seconds and were shocked by its speed and human-like face.
