An investigator sent to the property reported beds, tree structures including a blind overlooking the house, unusual paintings, and footprints. One brother saw a large brownish arm pushing brush aside to look at him, then called the other brother over. Together they watched a large mass behind trees, heard two knocks returned after hitting a fence post and had a fist-sized rock thrown over their heads, then saw the figure with arms around two trees rocking before it crashed away through brush as the third brother approached yelling.

While helping with a book, the witness parked his RV in a vineyard during a rainy night, felt slapping and pushing on the vehicle, and found paw-like muddy prints down its side in the morning. The next day he hiked five miles into wilderness with friends to gather berries and mushrooms and watched a hairy, bearded figure peeking from behind rocks and trees. The group left the area that night feeling watched.

The following fall archery opener, five hunters camped at the same site and the guest shot a buck in hot weather, butchering it and hanging the inedible carcass across the creek about nine feet up. After 10 p.m. they heard heavy footfalls and feeding grunts, fired guns to scare the animal, found the carcass pulled down, rehung it higher twice with the same result, then listened as it stripped rib meat requiring great grip strength. One companion left for Alaska afterward and the guest never returned to the area.

The witness was making lunch midday when the front door opened and slammed shut. He saw a light-like shape of a shoulder and dress move back out the door a few feet away. He felt residual energy in the room and concluded he had seen a ghost.

On a nine-day horse-supported deer hunt deep in the Trinity Alps, the witness and one companion camped apart with a pack mule. A long scream ending in a pulsating roar sounded downhill, and less than an hour later the mule was found injured and alarmed staring toward the trees. No deer were seen all week and others reported rocks sliding down on them.

The witness and his father camped to build blinds and saw three sets of tall red eyeshine outside the fire circle that dimmed when lit. Later something struck their truck camper hard enough to knock items off shelves, then a loud woman-like scream sounded nearby with an answering scream where the eyes had been, followed by movement around the camper all night.

A truck driver said he struck what he first thought was a person while driving in Florida. The figure then looked up, appeared gorilla-like, and stood about ten feet tall. The driver fled in his truck after hearing a loud high scream.
