The witness had placed trash cans under his bedroom window after finding trash strewn near the woods. One night he woke to rattling, saw a cone-headed form at the cans, and watched it spin, drop to all fours, and sprint across the roughly 50-yard yard into dense rainforest-like brush at remarkable speed. At the time he dismissed it as a bear, but later interpreted the long arms and quadrupedal run as Sasquatch-like.
Tree break in Tennessee
A couple with a dog camped and fished for three days with no one else around and experienced small disappearances of glasses. While fishing near the car with no wind, a large live tree snapped and fell toward the car, landing in another tree above the spouse and dog. The next morning while packing, a bag left on a picnic table near the dog vanished despite no one else being around, and the dog seemed on edge.

The witness and a younger sibling were fishing on opposite sides of a back pond when a large rock burst out of the trees high up and landed in the center of the pond. Both watched it splash down and looked toward the woods. The witness reeled in, packed up, and insisted they leave immediately.

At age 15 the witness stayed home with her friend while her parents went hunting. After shutting the chicken coop door they saw a big white figure 75 to 100 yards away near the fence, visible from the waist up. After hearing distant screams that seemed to shift position and prolonged branch-breaking around camp, the witness stayed awake listening while others slept. The witness heard heavy running and breathing pass the RV and noticed moonlight through the windows dim briefly, then later the companion's son fled his tent to the RV reporting tree-banging, movement, darkness at the tent, and a voice imitation. No one saw anything, and the next morning knocking elicited whistle replies from the woods.

The witness, then a teenager staying in a tent at a logging camp, awoke at night and saw a female fur-covered figure standing at an illuminated cooler on the porch holding meat. After a standoff ended by a scream, the figure left with the meat as others emerged and observed its receding form and footprints.

While hiking near a creek behind a store at Lost Lake, the witness saw a crouched dark-gray figure that looked like a fallen tree or stump. The witness left to retrieve a camera, marking the spot with a rock pile. When returning about 15 minutes later, the figure was gone and the rock pile had been knocked over.
