While standing with a fellow researcher in a small clearing under a maple on a dense wooded hillside, the guest was struck in the back of the head by a shelled pecan flying horizontally from thick vegetation. The witness was home at night with two female relatives when they went to open a sliding glass door for air. Pulling back the curtain, the witness came face to face with a tall gray-white hairy creature bent down with a hand reaching for the door handle. Both screamed, the creature made a horrible groan and ran down the hill toward woods and swamp. Tracks were later seen around the door leading toward the woods.

The witness and a companion were camped by a remote pond after gunfire and music stopped and distress vocals were heard. They heard movement around them, heavy stomps, sticks breaking, and a large splash across the water. Using night vision the witness saw five upright figures on the far shore and they quickly packed and left, feeling they were in danger.

A feeder owner filled a feeder with corn and found it emptied and filled with pounds of rocks sized from golf balls to baseballs. Around the bench were many small limbs leaning against trees like a playground and a teepee structure. The dog cowered and tree sounds were heard, which the guest also saw.

A fisherman found his remote cabin disturbed with huge muddy footprints inside. Later while leaving on a four-wheeler to fish he heard movement in brush. A huge hairy arm reached out as if to clothesline him, but he got away.

They stayed calm and backed out, then the partner panicked when something grabbed and shook his hanging backup light.

A month or so before the later backpacking incident, the witness camped with his daughter and her friend. The girls saw something large moving just outside the firelight and going behind the tent. When the witness approached with a light, a pine cone flew out close to him, he felt he should not go farther, and he brought the girls into the tent.

The witness and a companion walked away from the expedition camp at night to look for sign. A heavy piece of concrete was thrown from the treeline and struck deadfall within about ten feet of the witness. They heard movement in the brush and then a loud roar or scream, and ran back to camp.

While lying in bed near a window at night, the witness heard tapping and leaned toward the window. He saw an arm-like shape on top of the window frame and a head-like shape looking down, which then walked away. He hid under the blanket and tried unsuccessfully to wake his father.

The guest camped at Coloma with one other person and did tree knocks. Something responded and came up to shake his tent during the night. He stayed inside and did not see whether it was a Bigfoot or a mountain giant.

A logging crew left equipment at a newly roaded site for the weekend and returned to find trucks crushed, a heavy chain snapped, saws wrapped around trees, and fuel drums thrown into a ravine. A destruction trail led away with very large four-toed tracks and no vehicle signs. The crew abandoned that parcel and never returned.

A paramedic and his partner got a flat tire on a rural wooded road in East Texas in the early morning after dropping off a patient. While working on the tire they heard approaching bipedal footsteps and a loud scream, then a rock and a log were thrown at the ambulance. The witness saw a large hairy humanoid with red eyes standing nearby making threatening displays, then it struck the ambulance hard enough to rock it. They stayed inside while multiple creatures vocalized around them until a supervisor arrived about 45 minutes later.

The activity reportedly intensified when the husband was home and included at least five creatures circling the house and tapping the walls.
