With a friend he found the man's truck with doors open and windshield and hood caved in, a destroyed campsite with scattered food and gear, and varied large footprints. Following a heavy blood smear they recovered an empty rifle and sidearm and found body parts spread over many miles, including a torso with wide claw-like gashes, before authorities arrived and news reports blamed wolves.

After the shooting the guest said aggression around the family's and grandfather's properties escalated. Horses, goats and other livestock were found dead, corrals and barn doors were torn, gardens were ripped down, and a gut pile was left on the grandfather's porch. The grandfather was once seen firing a rifle at a creature in his corral, and coordinated disturbances were reported at multiple homes in one night until the family moved away.

A few years later the guest was playing inside near dusk while the father was dressing a deer outside. A shadow paced past the front window, then the creature screamed and pounded the house until its arm broke through the glass. The father ran out with a shotgun, argued and exchanged cries with it for nearly half an hour, then fired. The father later had the grandfather bring a truck, removed the body, and years later said he shot it in the face three times.

The guest described being a young child playing on the living room floor in the evening while both parents were in the same room. A hairy creature came to the window, slammed its hands on either side, and pressed its face to the glass. The father seized a muzzleloader and went outside, where he and the creature exchanged loud roars for about twenty minutes before it left.

A family on a ranch loses cattle, sheep and smaller animals through the summer, finding carcasses broken apart with bones and footprints. While checking cows they photographed a large black creature sitting on a hill ledge that was gone when they circled back.

Residents in Wheatfields reported creatures running through the neighborhood and overturning trash cans. Police checked but it ran off, and three sightings were reported in one area last week.
Rock throwing in Ohio
Two relatives were bass fishing from a small boat when rocks were thrown toward them. After beaching, one threw rocks back, the creature screamed, stepped out, charged and struck one man hard enough to break ribs and puncture a lung, then threw a log that cut his chin. It reappeared swaying and clicking, then leapt a great distance and ran off on all fours. Authorities and later visitors called it a bear and told them to leave it alone.

While hauling a refrigerated load north at night, the witness pulled onto an exit ramp to check a temperature alert and began diagnostics on the trailer. The witness noticed a musky odor and breathing, turned on cab work lights, and found a tall hairy face leaning in within a few feet. When the trailer engine kicked on, both were startled, the creature slapped the unit hard enough to break fiberglass and then ran across a field with heavy footfalls.

The witness drove out at night looking for a lost small dog and pulled to the side of a lonely road near a ball field and woods. While outside the pickup the witness heard brushing sounds and smelled a skunk-like odor, then got back inside. The back of the truck was then bumped hard enough to feel like a low-speed rear-ending, and a tall silhouette was seen in the taillights while a yell/scream was heard, prompting the witness to drive away.

The witness and his girlfriend drove mountain roads noticing structures, then saw movement behind another car and a distant hominid-like silhouette that slipped into the woods. Later parked in a hidden pull-off, they heard impacts on the car, saw shifting shadows, and then a rock cracked the window. After trouble starting the car, they drove out.
Handprint
The guest found a large handprint on his truck where something had apparently peered over toward his tent and shifted position. He describes an 11.5 to 12-inch print with thumb and fingerprints, plus three prints about 10 inches long on the quad-cab door by the 10-inch door handle.
Property disturbance
During a rainy December 9th camp with [name withheld], [name withheld] and [name withheld], the guest was sleeping in his tent. Something pulled the stakes from his tent and threw them into the fire pit.
Footsteps
The guest was asleep in his tent with his dog when a proximity alarm woke him about 11:45. Something walked around the tent, handled items on his table, then pressed through the tent fabric behind his head and gently manipulated his head and face with a very large hand. He triggered his truck alarm lights, after which it moved off. The whole sequence lasted about nine minutes and was captured on an audio recorder.
Scream
The witness, a college volunteer helping with a search-and-rescue in heavy snow, hiked with two companions to a small work cabin atop Mount Macon and spent the night there. During the night something screamed and howled outside and repeatedly struck the heavy door and walls, terrifying the three men inside. By morning it was gone, leaving large indistinct impressions in the snow leading up to the cabin, after which the group hiked out.
Partial sighting near Point Reyes, California
Years later the same witness was riding in a car at night with two friends toward a coastal campground. She saw a large dark figure standing on a steep slope beside the road. A grapefruit-sized rock struck the roof of the car and dented it, and the group continued driving.
Vehicle contact in New York
The guest described driving home on Long Island and stopping at a deli off Comac Road with tractor-trailers blocking his view. As he accelerated to pull onto the road he felt an unseen hand slap his leg onto the brake pedal. At that moment a speeding car tore off the front of his small car instead of striking the driver's door broadside, which he believes saved his life.

The following night the same four men hiked a wooded ridge in the dark. A rock was thrown from their flank and the guest saw a heat signature in the trees on thermal. From a flat rock they then recorded a figure between trees that appeared to throw, bounce between trunks, drop below the ridge and peek around a tree trunk from a prone position.
Footsteps near Honobi, Oklahoma
The guest and a group left an empty tent with a recorder inside on a ridge in Oklahoma. After about 30 silent minutes the recording captured movement, snapping twigs and small pebbles hitting or missing the tent. Then something was heard running hard toward and right past the tent.
Scream near San Diego, California
Security staff at a wildlife park reported hearing strange screams at night outside the perimeter and having stones or similar objects thrown. The investigator describes this as ongoing strange activity still under investigation.
Property disturbance in Ohio
Over years at the rural property the household noticed small odd events. Pebbles appeared lined up on the porch, loud bangs hit the side or front of the house with nothing seen outside, and a golf ball hit into the field days earlier reappeared on the porch. They did not connect the events at the time.
