An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

The witness and a companion were hiking out after a multi-day camping trip when they found a large barefoot-like print in mud, with additional fainter tracks continuing along the trail, and took a single cellphone photo. That night while sheltering in a trail cabin with a poncho rigged over an open window, the covering was pulled open and a securing board was knocked onto a camper despite no observed wind. The witness noted the nighttime disturbance could have been a bear, but also noted a food-strewn garbage bag was left untouched.

The witness and his father went early in the morning to fish the headwaters of a river. Pinecones repeatedly landed very close to them though no trees overhung them and no trajectory was seen. After one cone struck the father in the woods they left to fish elsewhere.

On his last night of work in 2010, the guest parked at his rented room on his boss's wooded property around 1 a.m. Birds erupted, then a loud rising howl-scream vibrated his car and silenced frogs and birds. He then heard movement and large rocks clashing in a ravine before running to the house and telling his boss he thought a Sasquatch was in the backyard.

The witness was hiking on a logging road after riding a bike when they heard a branch snap, brush crashing, and a loud strike like wood on wood. A rock was then thrown from bushes, and the witness saw a hand and a muscular, dark brown, approximately 6-foot figure facing away with a V-shaped tuft of hair on top. The witness shouted at the figure, which remained still facing away, then left the area the way they came.

During a BFRO trip to Bumping Lake with a friend, the guest was woken around 3:30 a.m. by loud bellowing screams. A hand pushed and swished across the tent near his face and knocked back when he hit the fabric, then walked away. At daylight he found a woven-tree shelter overlooking camps and on exit found the road blocked by three pushed-over trees.

After moving to the property the household repeatedly heard tapping on glass and slaps on the exterior walls, but found nothing when checking with a spotlight. Chairs left outside were found turned upside down in the morning. Strange whoop-like sounds were also heard from across the canyon and were initially attributed to bears or people.

The witness was backpacking and camping with friends at a small alpine lake. Late at night two campers heard something moving on rocks by the lake and then something hit their tent. The next morning they found 6-7 human-like footprints where the movement had been heard, sunk much deeper than the witness's own print, and photographed them.

He then heard an object strike branches in the air before a large thump landed near his camp. In the morning he found a smooth river rock about 18 inches across where no such rocks should occur, which he interpreted as thrown.

Two hunters parked before sunrise in fog to hunt heard whooping and tongue-clicking calls from the treeline and heard the caller circle them in the woods. A thud was heard and felt on the road and a boulder that had not been there when they drove in was found in the road. They later heard a very large animal moving away breaking branches, found no sign after sunrise, and left to hunt elsewhere.

The witness camped alone at a remote alpine lake and saw a black shiny shape on a ridge during a day hike that stayed motionless when called to. That evening while cooking the witness heard a loud screech, then after dark was awakened by extremely loud cracks followed by falling rocks, with a second closer event about 40 minutes later. The witness stayed awake afraid until daylight and left quickly in the morning.

The witness heard branch and twig breaks approaching, then a stick flew over the truck, followed by a basketball-sized rock landing a few feet from the fire. The witness was driving slowly while road hunting in a gated clearcut area before dark. A large black figure stood up about 15 feet away on a steep downhill slope, showed agitated movements and cheek puffing, muttered and then screamed before leaving over a stump downhill. About an hour later the witness returned with two companions and all three heard pounding on trees and mumbled vocalizations before leaving.

The witness camped alone on a gravel bar along a creek in 2006. Shortly after sunset he heard repeated sets of three loud strikes on trees from the forest to the south that moved between trees for about an hour. About 30 minutes after the strikes ended, a pine cone came from the direction of the forest through the campsite. He left the area the next morning.

On Saturday morning they began hearing very loud guttural scream-growls that seemed to warn them away from certain areas, including the path to the lake, and the sounds continued into Sunday. Overnight they heard cooking gear clanging and a heavy thump like logs dumped beside their trailer, but in the morning the gear was largely in place and no logs were found, and the companion also reported a strong putrid smell.

On the return they heard sounds suggesting something was following them, and the women in camp reported rocks being thrown near camp and brush moving. After going to bed the group heard a loud screech/scream twice, and before sunrise one woman was awakened by a close growl near the tent. No creature was seen.

The witness woke in the middle of the night while camping in a tent at a wooded campground near Baker Lake. For about an hour the witness listened to distant yelping and other loud vocalizations that sounded distinct from dogs barking elsewhere in the campground, along with sounds described as rocks being thrown in the woods. The witness did not see anything and reported that no companions mentioned hearing the sounds the next day.
Young Girl Experiences Rock and Stick Throwing
The witness was walking home at night near a creek when something began throwing sticks and rocks and following her. The throwing reportedly paused when cars passed. She ran to a bridge where the pursuer entered bushes but continued throwing objects, while she heard footsteps, smelled a strong bad odor, and glimpsed only a large dark figure. Footprints were reportedly found in sand the next day.
