Cabin renters have sighting outside Logan in Wayne National Forest
Ten people renting a cabin heard branch-breaking noises, bangs, sounds like throwing, and strange howls after midnight, along with a foul outdoor odor. Four of the group then saw a large black bipedal figure in a field in front of the cabin that turned and went back into the woods. The group then heard more walking, howls and breaking branches around the cabin and later found a footprint.

Three campers spent the night in separate tent and hammock shelters arranged around a campfire at a remote site. During the night the reporting witness was awakened by a slap to his tarp, while the companions reported bipedal footsteps circling their shelters. Shortly after the footsteps left, two loud howls were heard about 15 minutes apart. No creature was seen and no footprints were found in the morning due to leaf cover.

The witness and a companion sat around a campfire at night in a parking lot study area. From about 200 feet away they heard growl-whoop-scream vocalizations and wood-on-wood thumps, followed later by pea gravel striking the truck. Trail cameras reportedly captured gravel in motion and a large black partial figure showing shoulder, arm and open hand.

The witness was driving with a passenger toward a campsite in the evening when a small rock flew from the treeline and struck the hood near the windshield. The driver saw only the rock in flight, while the passenger reported seeing a large dark crouched figure at the treeline just before impact. Both occupants interpreted the rock as deliberately thrown and later photographed a small paint chip at the impact point.

A family of four was camping in the primitive area of a park at night when sticks and possible rocks were thrown from the woods and strange noises were heard. After a loud bang on a nearby wooden outhouse, a witness saw a tall dark hairy figure run into the woods. A responding ranger searched the woods, found no one and no damage, and noted the family were the only campers in that section.

While attempting to collect water with a cup on a string, they heard movement on the steep hillside and had small stones and then a large rock thrown toward them from uphill. They left quickly without seeing what threw the rocks.

During winter coyote hunting from the same leased camper, the witness placed a call in the field and later went to bed in the rear bunk. Around 5:23 a.m. he heard crunching footsteps approach in snow and light tapping on the window by his head, then footsteps receding. In the morning no other footprints were found besides his own, and relatives said they had not walked there.

Over about four years the household noticed odd sounds, smells and disturbances around their wooded Texas property. They heard voice-like calls, hoots, growls and repeated wood knocks, found scat, stripped and snapped trees, and missing bait. Four campers spending the night near a creek reported hearing aggressive vocalizations described as a mix of whoops and screams, then seeing the silhouette of a very tall figure with a wide torso about fifteen feet away. By morning a chair was found knocked over, but no tracks were located on the rocky ground.

Later back home they found a van vent window broken with glass on roof and gear, plus a large handprint with visible dermal ridges on rear glass that dwarfed a man's hand. The witness and three friends camped in the park in summer 2019 and hiked the towpath trail near the river after dusk. They had sticks then small rocks thrown behind them, smelled a pungent odor, felt watched, and fled. After stopping to rest they heard a loud deep growl and saw a very tall dark-haired humanoid in a weapon-mounted light before it stepped behind an oak and disappeared. They ran to camp, heard disturbances overnight, and in the morning found the campsite strewn about, a food pot missing, and two neat piles of large rocks by the fire pit.

The witness and two relatives were camped in a remote site in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Late at night the witness heard prolonged rustling and crackling at the camper's tarp porch, initially thinking a bear had returned. About half an hour later multiple rounds of rocks struck the camper, including a larger rock on the roof, waking the other two campers. In the morning the camp was undisturbed and a rock was found in a hammock behind the camper.

The witness reported being awake late at night in a mountain cabin when she heard knocks that sounded like they were getting closer, then a powerful hit shook the wall where she slept. She also reported an extremely loud screaming growl and moved to the loft for the remainder of the night. The next day she noticed a smear on the cabin wall and a possible heel print on the ground below.

The witness was camped overnight in a remote forest clearing with his child while another camp was nearby. Around midnight the woods went silent and something large approached on two legs, walking around the tent and making contact along the roof. The witness stayed quiet in the tent holding a handgun until the visitor left toward the woods, with normal night sounds returning much later. In the morning no clear prints were found and the companion said he had heard movement.

The witness and his partner and young child drove to a remote area near a lake to hunt mushrooms and walked about a mile and a half to a marshy pond. While picking, a large log splashed down beside them, followed later by a large rock thrown from the tree line that splattered mud. They saw young trees shaking as something moved rapidly along the tree line without hearing vocalizations, then left and found a recently killed elk with torn hide and broken legs before hiking out.

The witness and her husband sat on the front porch at night with a night vision scope. They watched a tall, huge figure standing about 50 yards away in the woods, passing the scope back and forth, and saw it crouch down and stand back up. While they watched, a rock was thrown onto the carport by something else nearby, and when the husband started toward the figure it vanished in a sudden flash of movement.
