While hiking with a different companion near Silver Creek, the pair camped near a bridge by a creek. After dark they heard a loud splash, then a very loud wood knock, then another splash like a thrown rock. They moved to the top of the bridge and left on foot when another knock sounded as they walked away.

Over years on the same lease the guest heard repeated rhythmic knocking after getting off his vehicle, plus bipedal steps, truck-like sounds, sticks and cones dropping, and owl-like sounds. He first rationalized them as people, deer, squirrels or owls. After his sighting he reinterpreted them as Sasquatch warning others of his approach.
