The animal stood upright, revealing a very tall, broad, dark-brown hairy human-like form, and the driver got out and shouted at it. The witness and his son were fishing in the evening after hearing about an abandoned camp. Pine cones began falling near them and one hit the witness's foot. They then heard extremely loud roars and saw a large bipedal creature on the hill pounding its chest before dropping to all fours and leaving. They hiked up the trail to their truck, shaken, and later told others.

The guest and coworkers stayed on a small island camp through the fall while building cabins. They experienced stick throwing into the water, repeated disappearance of garlic, probing trails around the cook area, chatter and a roar at night. In daylight the guest viewed a hair-covered creature squatting against a stump through a scope, then found a repeatedly used standing depression overlooking the camp.

On the second night small debris struck the side of his tent as if thrown. The companion confirmed hearing weird noises on the first night.

A group camping near a river spent three late nights walking north of their campsite to look for Sasquatch. They claim loud tree knocks, howls, grunts, heavy bipedal movement and red glowing eyes, plus a shadowy figure that rose from about five feet to about eight feet tall. They also claim a glow stick left on a gravel road was later found moved to the base of a hollow tree.

Later in a quarry area they reported watching a human-like figure in night-vision goggles that crouched when noticed, followed by a rock thrown nearby, after which they left.
