They then observed a tall, large dark hair-covered figure passing a high dining-room window and filling it from edge to edge. The witness stopped a logging truck and trailer at a job site in the early morning to tighten straps. After noticing a rotten smell, the cab door shut and straps were yanked on the opposite side. Looking up, the witness saw a huge hairy creature with an elongated pointed head and sausage-like fingers watching and sizing him up. The creature backed away and bolted for the nearby treeline when another truck's lights appeared, and the witness later left trucking after being ridiculed.

The night after the hunting incident, the son woke his parents screaming about a monster outside. The father saw a huge shadow and then a dog-like creature in the yard by the sliding glass door. The mother also saw it, the neighbor's dog was killed that night, and harassment continued for two to three nights until police patrols and the creature left.
