The men then left for a motel for the remainder of the job.

After a day of hiking, the witness and a companion were returning to their parked truck after dark in moonlight when they noticed movement around the vehicle. From about 40 feet away they saw three hair-covered upright figures, two larger and one smaller, which then ran away as the men ran to the truck and drove off. No vocalizations were heard, only the sound of contact with the truck and footsteps in grass as the figures fled.

The group hid in their tent while something raided their food bag hung in a tree and ate their snacks. The witness peeked out and watched a large hairy biped squatting nearby eating bean dip before it stood and walked away up the trail. At dawn they found the food cache torn down and learned another nearby camp had also been raided.

The guest and friends stayed midweek at a remote cabin near Osage Beach in August. At night the group had wood chunks and pebbles thrown at them and heard loud whooping, and companions heard splashing while night fishing. The next morning companions reported a hairy bear-like figure by fish guts, the woodpile was toppled, and a beaver dam was found destroyed with a pulled-apart carcass. While squirrel hunting along the creek the guest and his companion watched a five-foot ape-like creature wading and looking in the water, which approached his companion then left after clicking sounds were exchanged with another unseen individual.

Approaching the stand over a ridge, he heard banging and watched a small ape-like juvenile jumping on the stand, swinging from a branch and climbing the ladder for several minutes. When it noticed him it made a low distress call, followed by an extremely loud roar from a wooded island about 100 yards away that he felt in his chest. He fled immediately and returned about a week later to find the stand torn down and the pack and contents shredded over a wide area.

The witness and a companion were driving to work in the early morning when they saw an animal squatting by the road near dumped garbage. They watched it in the headlights as it moved backward into the road, looked at them, then squatted and leaped off the road into a ravine. A torn bag of garbage was found where it had been kneeling.

The witness and his friend camped and fished over a weekend at a remote creek below a ridge road. They experienced pebbles and rocks thrown, pacing, huffing, wood knocks, a disturbed fire pit and scattered poles. A large creature then came down the ridge into the creek, growled at them from about 20 yards, and left. A DNR officer later found prints, cast them, and called them bear tracks.

The witness fled on foot to his truck, fired a warning shot, drove away, and saw a large black hand reach for the tailgate and a second creature standing with the first.

Looking outside, the witness reported seeing a large white hairy creature holding a rooster, which it threw against the house before moving behind the house. The witness pursued it with a pistol and fired twice as it ran out of sight up a gravel road.

The creature pulled a cypress stump from the mud, threw it into the river, then turned to look at them and walked briskly away along the riverbank. Years later while working in law enforcement, the witness drove to a remote trailhead to pick up a fire-watcher ranger during a dry fall with active forest fires. Concerned when the ranger did not appear after dark, he walked up the trail with a flashlight and rifle and found the ranger hiding by a rock. Together they watched a tall, long-armed figure with large reflective eyes at the far edge of a clearing for an extended period before it crouched, raked grass, backed into the woods, and circled away crashing through brush. The ranger later said he had already encountered the same figure on the trail, where it screamed at him, caused him to drop his kit, and threw his bag, which was never recovered.

A farm resident reported waking to three softball-sized colored orbs hovering in line at the foot of her bed, moving in formation down a hallway and into a dining room before disappearing. Next morning she found three circular discolored spots on a window screen. A team radiochemist analysis reportedly found high irradiation and neutron flux effects, and she later reported flu-like illness and porous hip bone described as radiation-like.
