Bow hunter is escorted from woods by foul-smelling, acorn-throwing bipeds
The witness was bow-hunting deer from a tree stand at dusk when deer ran through the creek below after a scream and thump. After climbing down to investigate, he smelled strong body odor, heard tapping and vocal sounds coming from two directions, and had acorn-like objects thrown at him. He then briefly saw a large dark figure watching him from cover before fleeing the area and never returning.

The witness drove to a Blue Ridge Parkway overlook on Halloween night to clear his head and walked down a trail to a bench. After noticing unnatural silence and hearing branch snaps circling him, he returned to his car. While sitting in the car he heard repeated impacts like cones hitting the vehicle and saw tall black hooded figures in the treeline and prone shapes on the grass that appeared closer each time he looked away, with faint flickering lights near their faces. He spoke to them, then drove away, later finding no damage and noticing maps show the turnout on the opposite side of the road from his memory.
Possible trash snatching (2 witnesses) outside Sherando
The witness and a companion were sleeping in their truck at a forest camp late at night when a large bipedal shape walked past and went to trash bags hung high in a tree. The shape reached up, carried one bag into the woods where tearing and eating sounds were heard, then returned about half an hour later to take a second bag. The pair remained in the truck, then packed up and left to spend the rest of the night elsewhere.

The witness heard something pushing and rattling the house siding around 3am, woke his spouse, and found nothing on checking outside with a flashlight.
