Over years on the same lease the guest heard repeated rhythmic knocking after getting off his vehicle, plus bipedal steps, truck-like sounds, sticks and cones dropping, and owl-like sounds. He first rationalized them as people, deer, squirrels or owls. After his sighting he reinterpreted them as Sasquatch warning others of his approach.

The witness describes nighttime noises around trash followed by discovery that garden plants were trampled and watermelons and vegetables were torn open and half eaten. The next day more fruit trees were found with broken branches and trampled, half-eaten fruit, and peas apparently picked and eaten. An older relative attributed the damage to the local wild man figure.
