Rocks began hitting the water and bank from across a flooded area about 50-60 yards away, followed by a sustained low roar that he felt vibrate. He left his gear and retreated to the lit compound, later hearing clicking like rocks banging together. About a month later he returned with a local researcher who found a pushed path through tules, a pressed circle, and a track measuring just over 16 inches.

The witness heard branch and twig breaks approaching, then a stick flew over the truck, followed by a basketball-sized rock landing a few feet from the fire. Two forestry workers measuring trees heard log-ripping and heavy footstep sounds, then had a large rotten root chunk and a smaller stick thrown toward them from an unseen source. The witness was riding an ATV alone at night on ridgetop trails when he stopped in dense brush and a large rock passed just in front of his head, followed by a deep growl felt in the chest. He fled on the ATV but ran out of fuel a short distance away and while trying to restart heard loud heavy bipedal steps approaching from behind. He got the machine restarted and rode home without stopping, and later saw the rock sitting beside the trail for years.

Two young men were burning trash and playing harmonicas at a house when they started to race toward a barn. After a few steps they saw a very tall, broad figure that stopped and looked toward them, which startled them so they ran back inside the house. Soon after they heard banging sounds described like rocks being thrown at the house, but found no one outside when they checked.

The witness and a companion were camping at an isolated lake over a long weekend. On Saturday morning they began hearing very loud guttural scream-growls that seemed to warn them away from certain areas, including the path to the lake, and the sounds continued into Sunday. Overnight they heard cooking gear clanging and a heavy thump like logs dumped beside their trailer, but in the morning the gear was largely in place and no logs were found, and the companion also reported a strong putrid smell.

The witness was fishing at a lake spillway in the afternoon when a basketball-sized rock flew through trees from an upslope hill to the east and landed in the lake. Birds that had been chirping went quiet, and another nearby fisherman who also saw it left. The witness later smelled a strong skunk-like odor upwind.

The witness opened the camper door expecting a bear and saw a large dark upright shape about forty feet away moving swiftly into the timber. The camper shook strongly as the animal left while nearby dogs barked. In the morning no tracks were found and they could not recreate the shaking.

After hearing noises like objects being thrown in the dining room, the witness went to check and saw a large hand reach through the window, across a table, and take a bowl containing food. Those present were frightened and the witness called the conservation office, after which nothing further happened that night.

On the way back they heard footsteps and branches breaking around them and something repeatedly threw snow or hard snow clods at them, while dogs barked nearby and a rank carcass-like odor was noticed. They jogged most of the way out, leaving around 3-3:30 a.m., and the witness believed deep snow ruled out a prank by a person.
