Hunters are intimidated out of their hunting ground near Bear Valley
Two deer hunters reported that after a rock flew over their heads in a meadow, something unseen paralleled them down a trail for about a mile while throwing or rolling large rocks alongside them. Back at camp that night all four hunters heard a large tree fall across the creek after noticing an unusual absence of wildlife all day. Believing something did not want them in the valley, the group packed up and left that night.
Whoop near Clayton, Washington
On another afternoon something disturbed the roofless chicken pen with branch breaking and repeated whoops, leaving broken branches and causing chickens to roost higher.
Tree break
In October a couple miles farther east the witness found broken trees around a spot and later that evening a baseball-sized rock landed near him by a campfire after unsuccessful howls and knocks.
Wood knock
While clearing trail, the witness heard weak knocks, exchanged loud knocks across water, left fruit on a stump, and later saw vegetation move; the fruit was gone next morning.
Growl
The witness's other sons and friends were chased from a creek drainage by something crashing, throwing objects, growling and hollering, pushing over a small tree.
Tree break
Witness found three mid-sized trees broken off about ten feet up and laid across the road near a swamp.
Scream near Trout Lake, Washington
Four years earlier the witness camped at the same remote site with a companion and the companion's child and heard screams before dark, then after dark heard branch breaking and movement that shook the ground, garbage cans being disturbed, and a loud grunt.
Camper details possible encounters in 2005 and again in summer 2009 near Trout Lake
A group was camping overnight at a remote forested lakeside camp. After hearing distant screams that seemed to shift position and prolonged branch-breaking around camp, the witness stayed awake listening while others slept. The witness heard heavy running and breathing pass the RV and noticed moonlight through the windows dim briefly, then later the companion's son fled his tent to the RV reporting tree-banging, movement, darkness at the tent, and a voice imitation. No one saw anything, and the next morning knocking elicited whistle replies from the woods.
Property disturbance near Chehalis, Washington
Two weeks after the mice incident, a bag of apples placed in a tree was torn open with apples missing and a partly eaten apple found where the mice had been.
