About three minutes later they heard a violent scuffle with thudding, brush noise and a dog's pained yelp followed by quiet splashing. The next morning a canoe dock where the scuffle was heard was seen destroyed, and the dog was later found alive but limping.

The witness hid, then later saw the figure walking away into the dark carrying something. A sour body odor was noticed during the presence, and deer jerky hanging on the front porch was missing the next morning.

Near a recently fallen tree he encountered three dogs, one of which acted aggressively, then heard an extremely loud, powerful vocalization he could feel, saw riverside vegetation including a small tree whip and break, and had a stick splash down in front of him though no person was visible. He left the creek frightened.
