The witness and two companions were walking upstream frog gigging at night when they noticed a musky odor and heard heavy movement ahead in dense brush. Three rocks were thrown from above across the creek, followed by crashing movement across the water and another rock landing nearby in the creek. An unseen very large mover then rushed toward them through thick brush, prompting the group to leave for their vehicle.

The witness shone a flashlight out a window and saw a large hairy biped walking away, which his wife also watched from a second window heading up a ravine. The witness and two companions camped in the Mt Hood National Forest with a barrel of animal entrails intended as bait. Over three days they reported loud screams from a nearby ridge, nighttime wood knocks, heavy steps and snapping twigs, and found their camp table apparently bitten through. They moved the bait pile away from camp, later found most of it missing with a wet sweet dog-like odor at the site.

The witness was making coffee at about 3 a.m. when she saw widely spaced large yellow eyes looking through a window, with a dark width blocking the outside light and shifting side to side. After daylight, she and a relative found a strong odor in the yard, vegetation matted and crushed under the window, and squirrel corn missing.

Over several nights in December the witness and their partner sat on their home lanai at night and heard a loud cry or scream, rock-clacking sounds, and stones or pebbles striking the house and lanai, and noticed a strange unknown odor for two days. No creature was seen. An investigator later visited the property, found a displaced rock, a single possible footprint, and nearby scat, and noted the property backs onto a power-line corridor.

A tall hairy biped ran from right to left across the road and was struck by the left front bumper, cracking it, but continued without slowing. The witness turned back and found nothing at the scene except a strong foul odor. She described the creature as much larger than an adult man, with short brownish-red hair, a large head and very long massive arms, without seeing its face.

The witness and his wife were sitting by a campfire late at night drinking coffee when a strong sulfur-musty odor drifted into camp. A piece of wood then flew into camp and struck their trailer, and after the odor returned a rock was thrown into camp near them. The wife also heard distant screams that evening, and no other people were seen in the immediate area.

Last summer the witness was kayaking down a creek around midday when rocks splashed near him. He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. He noted its stride was wider than a human's and it went straight through brush. He then paddled back to his truck.

During the night he heard unknown noises, a cough/grunt sound, whistles, rocks thrown toward him, and a very loud crash near his hammock. During the day they found a very fresh opened deer carcass, returned to find their camp meticulously rummaged including an animal-proof cooler, and found a nearby large tent camp abandoned and dusty. Around 3 a.m. a huge heavy presence breathed deeply, smelled of wet animal and strong body odor, moved around the tents while the forest went silent, terrifying them until sunrise when they packed and left without speaking.

Two companions were bass fishing from a boat on a creek in the late afternoon. They heard heavy footsteps and water-splashing sounds from dense woods and motored closer quietly but saw nothing. After moving away from shore they heard a loud splash near the boat that they believed was a thrown object, followed by heavy footsteps retreating quickly. A strong musky odor had been present in the same area earlier that day.

A saltwater hauler working after midnight at an oil-field tank site reported seeing glowing red eyes above a 9-10 foot fence during an unusually quiet period with a skunk-like odor and a low growl. The figure moved out of view and then threw about five tennis-ball-sized rocks toward the storage tanks, with two striking the nearest tank. The witness felt intimidated and left the site, returning the following night to look for the rocks.

The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

On the trail he saw a widely spaced pair of large eyes at about his own height that stayed after he fired a handgun into the ground, then left to the side through dense brush with loud crashing. He smelled a foul musky odor and found pushed-over vegetation where it left, felt watched while field-dressing the deer, and later found part of the carcass dragged about 300 yards.

When they shone a flashlight toward shore they saw a large dark human-shaped figure with red glowing eyes partly obscured by vegetation, then yelled and banged oars before retreating to a safer distance and hearing a loud scream or roar as they loaded the boat and left.
