One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.

The witness was turkey hunting from the base of a tree on a ridge when a tall, dark reddish-brown bipedal figure was seen about 75 yards away for a few seconds before it stepped behind a tree. The witness was camped overnight in a remote forest clearing with his child while another camp was nearby. Around midnight the woods went silent and something large approached on two legs, walking around the tent and making contact along the roof. The witness stayed quiet in the tent holding a handgun until the visitor left toward the woods, with normal night sounds returning much later. In the morning no clear prints were found and the companion said he had heard movement.

The witness and his partner and young child drove to a remote area near a lake to hunt mushrooms and walked about a mile and a half to a marshy pond. While picking, a large log splashed down beside them, followed later by a large rock thrown from the tree line that splattered mud. They saw young trees shaking as something moved rapidly along the tree line without hearing vocalizations, then left and found a recently killed elk with torn hide and broken legs before hiking out.

A large angular rock landed near them after they heard it moving through the air, followed by a loud grunt, a foul odor, and heavy footsteps approaching downhill. Fearing a bear, they fled down the switchback trail while the footsteps cut straight downhill behind them for about five minutes before stopping. They abandoned personal items, returned to the trailhead, and left the area.

She left for her hotel. The next morning a tree was pushed toward her without the same dread feeling, and others later told her the dread feeling precedes Dogman.

During a multi-day camping trip the group smelled a terrible odor, heard knocks and gibberish chatter at night, then returned next day and fired a shotgun. Returning again that night without the wife, they heard a limb crack and a heavy thud as a rock landed by the buddy.
