Two companions camping with a companion's child heard ape-like calls and slow loud knocks near a creek in the evening and knocked back with logs. Rocks were thrown into camp, and at night something bipedal walked around and brushed the tent while making sniffing sounds at the seams. The activity continued over several days with more distant knocks that seemed to approach, another large rock landing near the witness, and an ice chest found opened.

The two hunters arrived late and set up camp and a tree stand in darkness in a hollow bottom. One hunter returned alone to retrieve a phone and heard pacing footsteps, a very loud voice repeating a name, and a laugh, then saw a huge dark shape in tall weeds and fired twice before fleeing. Both hunters were then circled for hours by fast-moving unseen things that stayed out of flashlight range, threw out a poisoned hot dog that was quickly taken by something running on two legs that coughed like a person, and found the heavy welded stand ripped from the tree in the morning.

Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.

A resident described repeated booms that shook his brick house, later finding cracked and pulverized bricks high on the wall. On another night he shone a spotlight into a field and saw a large gray figure moving very fast and low like a spider on fingertips and toes. Three separate visitor groups noticed a large unseen mover: the son-in-law heard something charge through the forest while stargazing, the sister-in-law heard a large animal run in daytime, and strangers saw movement off the trail. Separately the witness listened with a parabolic dish hearing limb snapping, brush movement, and metallic banging as if the cabin area was being torn apart.

After setting recorders and cameras, the witness got a 20-minute recording of something walking around, touching, and repeatedly pulling a bungee-mounted recorder without damage. Game cameras captured possible high eyeshine and a night video where the background distorted as an unseen shape moved toward a tree stand.
