On another night the girls felt a hand drag over and push down the tent top before it jumped a retaining wall, leaving two foot-shaped impressions in clover leading to the woods.

The guest's cousin worked alone watching for fires from a remote forest fire tower. While staying there he felt the structure shaken, heard gibberish-like talk, and heard something walking around below. He believed it was not people watching him and was afraid to leave the tower.

The witness was sleeping in a motorhome on Vancouver Island when something large violently rocked the vehicle. He saw a very hairy bipedal creature standing outside the window, then ran outside and smelled a strong musky odor like dead fish. He heard its footsteps stop nearby in the dark and retreated inside without seeing it again.

About a week later the witness had a cousin staying to help clean the mostly empty house. While sitting upstairs they heard a door open and slow individual footsteps coming up from the basement area, which then stopped and quickly moved back down. Both left the house.

The witness camped with his children in a tent on the back deck to listen to the woods. Something large stomped down the hill and stopped under the deck for an extended time. During the night he heard owls surrounding the house, a low humming sound, howls, dogs barking, a whistle, and a raspy meow-like sound, and a rock and a stick hit the tent above his head.

In October during high school, the guest and his brother parked on a four-wheel road to hunt and waited in the truck for daylight. Something slapped the truck with open-palm force enough to rock it, then they heard footsteps on the road. The guest stepped out, glimpsed a huge dark figure moving left to right, then grabbed lights and guns but found nothing and continued hunting.

The guest brought his wife to the aggressive area. Walking out, a deafening scream knocked his wife down, heard only by them though three others were nearby. She wanted to leave but stayed. That night things walked around, opened a cooler, and at 5 a.m. dropped rebar with a clang and fled.

Around 2 a.m. the guest heard clicking and movement around tents and vehicles. After hours of activity, something lifted a Dutch oven lid, charged 30 feet, pushed a fist through his tent window and then pushed its face inches from his. He held a pistol, heard a voice telling him to kick his legs, did so, and the group left chirping. Urine, prints and handprints were found.

The following Friday during a distant football game whose sound echoed through the ravine, the witness heard intense tree beating and stomping like elephants. A plastic sled was beaten against a tree. He hung his phone out the window so an outside contact could hear.

About a month after a nearby sighting made the papers, the witness played internet sounds with friends as a joke. After about 45 minutes they heard knocks, whoops, growls and had pebbles and rocks thrown at them. On the hill they saw eyeshine that ducked into grass, heard something following them, and later rocks hit the deck and porch.

The witness was alone in a tree stand when he heard heavy movement and loud wood knocks. A large figure stayed close behind him making tongue pops while a smaller chocolate-colored juvenile watched from a hill, and the larger one tossed pine cones at his foot. After dark he walked to his truck hearing footsteps on both sides, saw a pulsating light follow him across a clearing and sink into the ground, then continued to his truck.
Scream
The witness and a close friend were living in a tent camp deep in the woods while hiding as runaways. After hearing strange noises for some time, they returned to find the camp destroyed by fallen trees and witnessed shaking trees and a large hairy creature moving on all fours that charged past them kicking sand. They hid in a hollow until sunrise, then fled the area and never spoke of the event for years.

In the northern woods the witness observed a single red glowing light that moved in response to movement near a tree. Others present also saw it. After audible running through woods, something threw a large rock into a nearby river.
