Man recalls incident while camping as a teenager near Cedarville
Two teenagers camped on a mountain logging road were harassed by thrown sticks, loud grunting and tree-banging sounds, and a strong foul odor. When they shone a light into the woods about 25 yards away, they saw a very tall fur-covered figure that ducked behind a tree. They put out their fire and fled down the trail, saying the figure followed them most of the way back.

The guest recalls stories his grandmother told about her childhood on a rural family farm. During one spring or summer when a strange animal was in the area, cattle stayed near the barn and hunting dogs refused to leave the porch, even when chased off. The family came to associate the disturbance with a wild creature visiting the property.
