The witness woke in the middle of the night to a loud bang against the trailer and later heard slow rhythmic footsteps and additional bangs until sunrise. Camera clips recorded the impact sounds. The next day the witness found fresh damage, a large muddy handprint on the awning arm, and a deep heel print that split the doormat.
Missing chickens lead to discovery of large footprints by chicken coop near Bloomingdale
The witness found all chickens missing from the coop, which was covered in feathers but had no bodies or blood. While searching the property near the creek, the witness discovered a very large footprint and photographed and measured it. An investigator later found additional prints in the same area.
Cabin renters have sighting outside Logan in Wayne National Forest
Ten people renting a cabin heard branch-breaking noises, bangs, sounds like throwing, and strange howls after midnight, along with a foul outdoor odor. Four of the group then saw a large black bipedal figure in a field in front of the cabin that turned and went back into the woods. The group then heard more walking, howls and breaking branches around the cabin and later found a footprint.

The witness reported being awake late at night in a mountain cabin when she heard knocks that sounded like they were getting closer, then a powerful hit shook the wall where she slept. She also reported an extremely loud screaming growl and moved to the loft for the remainder of the night. The next day she noticed a smear on the cabin wall and a possible heel print on the ground below.
Homeowners find fresh snow tracks of a possible adult and juvenile north of Forsyth
The witness and a companion were asleep at home when they were awakened around midnight by a thump on a storage box beneath the bedroom window and sensations described as footsteps. The next afternoon they found two lines of large human-like barefoot prints in fresh snow leading toward and past the window, merging into one line before crossing the road toward a treeline. The larger prints were measured at 13 to 14 inches long with strides over five feet, while smaller prints were interpreted as a juvenile. Photos and measurements were taken before melt and wind degraded the tracks.

The witness was staying at his uncle's cattle farm to shoot a suspected coyote stealing chickens. From a barn loft at night he watched a tall bipedal creature emerge from the tree line and move very quickly toward the coops. After he shouted, it growled, screamed and charged the barn, shaking it, while he fired dozens of rounds down at it before it fled to the woods. No blood was found, only partial tracks, and a conservation officer told them to keep quiet.

Over about an hour the witness heard a single knock, shed creaking as if pushed, rustling and footsteps on gravel, a possible growl and chewing, and a single whoop with no reply. Two companions camped while hunting for five days near Dillon State Park. On successive nights they heard tree knocks from multiple directions, whistles, whoops, loud yells and screams that approached the camp, growling near the camper, and banging on vehicles in a nearby junkyard. By day they found numerous large human-like footprints in a shallow spillway and on a sandy bank, which they photographed with boots for scale. They reported no visual sighting but concluded the sounds and tracks were from a large, athletic creature.

The witness later went outside with a flashlight and saw a single glowing red eye high in the treeline. In the morning stacked rocks were gone, footprints were found, and a large pine by the carcass had been pushed over.

A couple scouting their wooded hillside property for a cabin site reported a brief daytime glimpse of a very tall figure that turned and ran, accompanied by whoops, movement sounds and a foul odor. That night both reported banging and stick impacts on their cabin lasting for hours. The next morning they reported finding large footprints and scattered sticks around the cabin.

He reported watching three pairs of eye reflections at different heights from near the house for about an hour. The next morning he and his companion reported disturbed dew and large barefoot-like tracks in the yard.

Through the night they heard return knocks, unidentified howls and loud sigh-like sounds, and a rock landed near one of them when he stepped away from the fire. Two former staff members reportedly found two additional stacked bone piles on the other side of the mountain with very large incisor-like marks. The team recorded three separated deposition sites and later found tracks within a quarter mile of two sites. Track measurements of step and stride were used to estimate the maker's height.

The guest and coworkers stayed on a small island camp through the fall while building cabins. They experienced stick throwing into the water, repeated disappearance of garlic, probing trails around the cook area, chatter and a roar at night. In daylight the guest viewed a hair-covered creature squatting against a stump through a scope, then found a repeatedly used standing depression overlooking the camp.

The witness was night fishing from a dock when an otter nearby suddenly fled. The witness then saw a large grey shape move quickly and silently between cover, followed by a large splash near the dock. Frightened, the witness left immediately and found large four-toed footprints on a return visit the next day.
Tracks near Skamania County (2013)
In April 2013 the guest took his teenage son camping at a just-opened campground off Highway 14 along the Columbia River. During a daytime walk they found an old large track, opened clam shells out of place, a fresh vine-maple twist tucked behind a fir, an 18-inch footprint beneath it, and several pushed or tossed trees. That night in camp they heard branch-breaking, felt the tarps pulled, heard splashing, felt vibration waves, and heard two wood knocks before leaving exhausted in the morning.

A group of firefighters waiting in a van around three in the morning felt the vehicle shoved down. They found no visible cause but later noted large handprints in dust on the van and large footprints in burned grass nearby. Photos were said to exist but have not been recovered.

A couple camping alone in a state forestry heard large movements around camp all evening. Around 2 a.m. the husband saw a tall hair-covered biped beside their SUV and illuminated it before it ran past him over a gate into the woods. Later both heard knocks and rocks striking their tent for about an hour until a large rock tore the tent roof. Next morning they found partial prints and fresh bark damage before leaving.
