The witness relays a friend's account of a law-enforcement friend who heard trash cans rattling at night and opened the door with a small gun to find a hairy wild-looking person-like thing. He shot once and it fled, friends failed to track it, and visitors who collected samples left business cards with numbers that later did not work.

A secondhand story holds that a family camping in Land Between the Lakes was found shredded with one body in a tree and the camper torn apart. The account came from a store worker who said officers told her. The investigator says he is not confident it was a dogman or even true.
Sasquatch sighting in Tennessee
The second guest relayed a story his father told about the guest's grandfather in Tennessee. Late at night someone tapped loudly on the trailer window, and when the grandfather came out with a gun and lights on, he saw a very large dark figure run off. The family interpreted it as a prowler, while the host noted witnesses often mistake a conical head for a hood.

Two moonshiners finished a batch stored in screw-top jars and found most containers smashed with a drunk Sasquatch lying on the ground. The creature had been unable to unscrew lids, smashed jars on a rock, and licked up the spilled liquor. When it noticed the men it gave whooping vocalizations, then became alarmed and staggered off into the woods.

A timber cruiser for a paper company went missing in the valley. Searchers sent to find him were chased out by creatures. After a posse formed, one man was killed by a thrown tree and others were hurt, then locals burned a large area to drive the creatures out.
Tracks in Montana
A logging crew left equipment at a newly roaded site for the weekend and returned to find trucks crushed, a heavy chain snapped, saws wrapped around trees, and fuel drums thrown into a ravine. A destruction trail led away with very large four-toed tracks and no vehicle signs. The crew abandoned that parcel and never returned.
Vehicle contact in New York
The witness heard on a scanner that a conservation officer reported hitting an animal running on two legs. He and his father drove toward the location to check for a taggable animal but were turned around at a roadblock. From a distance they saw a van, a state trooper and another vehicle.

Around the same period, livestock belonging to a nearby rancher were reportedly killed and went missing in unusual numbers.
Partial sighting in Texas
A homeowner backing to National Forest called police about three large figures moving things on his property and later throwing rocks or slapping the house. The officer found no damage or people. The homeowner also reported nighttime screaming, yelling and chopping with trees falling. The host interprets the activity as Sasquatch.
Rock throwing in Connecticut
Residents of small summer huts backed against a steep hill complained for a couple weeks that rocks were thrown down onto roofs and cars. Police searched the hilltop, staked it out overnight and had an officer nearly hit, but never found anyone throwing. The source was left unknown.

Someone living in an old shack or house nearby reportedly found unidentified fur on a back screen door or porch after something tried to get inside.
Property disturbance
Shop owners told the witness's spouse about the shop owner's spouse losing five dogs. The dogs were found with broken necks and puncture wounds and apparently drained of blood. The teller compared this to the deer kill found on the property.

Other persons staying in a trailer reportedly smelled a foul odor and had the trailer rocked violently late at night.
