In the early 80s the father camped alone at a secluded bow camp and heard something large walk in talking gibberish like a drunk man and root through camp. It circled the tent and pressed a finger down on the canvas, leaving a half-moon cut, then left toward a second babbling voice on the hill. On a later return visit a green aspen blocked the road with no wind and structures were noted.

Two witnesses were paddling a rowboat along a brushy creek at night to check limb lines. They heard something moving with them in the dense brush along the bank. A large rock was thrown downward and landed in the water in front of their boat, after which they left the area.

The guest's grandparents noticed meat and vegetables disappearing from an outdoor wash house over several days. One night the family smelled a strong musky odor in the living room, and the grandmother saw a large hairy figure squatted outside a picture window. For about a week afterward the grandmother heard something tampering with the wash-house door at night.
