A laborer picking berries was attacked by a hairy giant called Bosco that clawed his throat and struck him with a 25-pound window weight. Witnesses, tracks, bitten trees, eaten dog remains, and asphalt footprints were reported. The creature was seen swimming, eating fish, and peering into buildings.

Sasquatch sighting near Sixes, Oregon (1904)
In 1904 near Sixes miners reported a wild man seen three times in three weeks. Two men heard something walk around and shake their cabin corner, heard a frightful noise, saw it walk away, shot and missed. Later a similar visit at dawn ended with the creature hurling a four-pound rock after being shot at.
