The witness was home watching a baseball game when a strange noise from the back porch prompted investigation with a pistol. The witness reported seeing a large dark upright shadow-like figure running toward the woods, firing shots, then seeing it again near an old stable and firing again without hitting it. Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.

The children reported a big ape-like figure, nightly house banging occurred after a TV was moved, and chickens, toys, tools and water-system doors were disturbed. The family eventually left after several years.
