Vocalization in South Dakota (2014)
A man living alone reported ongoing activity including footsteps on the porch, grunting, tapping, rocks thrown and objects pushed over. He recorded audio through a window without looking outside. The investigator visited and noted the isolated setting and admitted the sound did not match known animals.
Property disturbance in Missouri (2009)
An older woman living alone reported repeated nighttime disturbances around her yard, barn and livestock. A responding officer documented a ripped chicken coop, dents on the barn, a partial handprint, and heard shuffling in the tree line. After the case file, photos and dispatch recordings disappeared and officials told him to drop the case, he was forced to resign.
Man fires shots at an unidentified man or animal near his back porch. Later he finds frozen meat littered about his back yard
The witness was home watching a baseball game when a strange noise from the back porch prompted investigation with a pistol. The witness reported seeing a large dark upright shadow-like figure running toward the woods, firing shots, then seeing it again near an old stable and firing again without hitting it. Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.
Sasquatch sighting near Orleans (1952)
A logger driving alone at night to collect a coworker saw a figure by the road and then a face in the mirror. He found a small tree blocking the road and, after getting out, heard running footsteps as a creature charged and backed off repeatedly. The creature tried to push the car off the road before the driver escaped, and the coworker later reported a similar push.
Rock throwing
While coyote hunting at night, a companion was struck under the eye by a three-inch rock and the group heard something crashing away through the forest.

The witness later heard branches breaking and footsteps and found yards of fence torn up with posts pulled out.

The investigator describes habituation witnesses who have had creatures on their property for many years and interact about weekly from the front porch. The witnesses hear heavy bipedal approach, then exchange rock throws, howls, twig snaps and whoops. During his own visit the investigator whooped playfully and received an immediate matching whoop in reply.
Vocalization near Isabella County
Residents of a central Michigan farm reported frequent night vocalizations over several years. Recorders captured goat-like and horse-like sounds, breathing and banging on a food barrel, and loud knocks from the woods when people moved between buildings. The witness investigated possible human sources and found one distant caller to exclude, but did not see the source.
Object throwing near Kingman County
After moving in, the witness reported objects thrown at the house, screams and howls, footsteps and movement sounds at or near the home.
Rock throwing near Yacolt, Washington
On a return camping trip to Silver Star, a companion awoke to pebbles hitting the tent pole followed by rustling and very heavy footsteps running away.
