After a standoff ended by a scream, the figure left with the meat as others emerged and observed its receding form and footprints.

While hiking near a creek behind a store at Lost Lake, the witness saw a crouched dark-gray figure that looked like a fallen tree or stump. The witness left to retrieve a camera, marking the spot with a rock pile. When returning about 15 minutes later, the figure was gone and the rock pile had been knocked over. A companion was also present and saw the figure.
