A woman camping in a trailer heard loud mountain-to-mountain calls and later woke to a furry black face looking in her small window. The next morning a large footprint and fingerprints were found on the trailer. On subsequent nights the visitor groaned by the fire, threw sticks and pine cones at the trailer, banged on it, and was watched with night optics walking between the tree line and river.

On the last night out, the pair sat back-to-back on a man-made ridge and made knocks, howls and other calls. Responses approached, then stopped, followed by heavy bipedal steps and rocks thrown from the front on both sides. On the second to last night out, the guest noticed an upright shadow behind a large oak tree about 15 to 20 feet away. He could see an arm with long shaggy hair and a hand with five pointed fingers. A rock landed nearby, he glanced away, and the shape was gone without sound.

A few weeks later the brothers returned to the lake for night fishing. After they threw rocks and sticks across a cove and then stopped, a large rock flew out of the dark treeline on the far side and landed near them in the water. They saw nothing that threw it.

The witness followed an older brother past a fence along fire breaks to hunt deer. When the brother left briefly chasing a buck, the witness heard a loud yell and had rocks land around and herd movement back to the fire break. The brother later said he had seen a big dark monster throwing rocks and had fled home separately.

The witness and a companion were fishing at night under a river bridge when they found a fresh human-like track in the mud. They then heard loud roars ending in screams, heavy movement and thudding from across the river, had rocks thrown toward them, and heard splashing and grunting as they left. At the truck they found river mud spattered on the vehicle with a strong foul odor.

Over the following days to months ducks, chickens and a neighbor's cow were found dead with severe injuries, with rotten odors noticed nearby.
Odor
Over several months the household noticed episodic skunk-like odors, distinct tree knocks, grunts and owl-like mimicry, nightly dog barking and motion lights tripping. A chain-link dog kennel was found shoved inward with no recent bear sign. Muffled conversation-like sounds were heard behind the house with no footprints found.

The witness and a friend were swimming in a dug-out pool below a waterfall on an isolated road. A deer ran up the hillside and pebbles repeatedly fell into the water with no visible source. Feeling watched and uneasy, they left the area.

The witness was riding a four-wheeler behind two friends on an open trail in daylight. Something grabbed his right shoulder and twisted him, causing him to turn into a tree. When they stopped and looked around, nothing was visible.

Over several weeks of treatment work the crew found survey ribbons repeatedly torn off and scattered, then piled in the clearing, and later found treated trees pushed over and drill bits bent. The crew and surveyors concluded no one on the crews was responsible. The job was ended at about seventy percent complete.

The witness and one coworker stayed late to finish treated trees and clean up capsules. They heard whoops and a shriek, then heard whistling objects identified as treatment capsules being thrown near them. As they drove out they saw something peering from behind a tree and heard three wood knocks.
Growl
The guest took his family camping including young children and a puppy. After being harassed by wild horses on a walk, they heard a growl near the tent at night and saw crouching yellow eyes, then after going to bed heard repeated hits on the same spot of the tent roof and his wife heard stick-banging while packing, prompting a nighttime departure.

The guest describes ongoing activity in an old home he owned, including furniture creaking and doors closing on their own. While walking through the dining room he felt compelled to turn around and watched the chandelier pull out of the ceiling and smash. He says he was not frightened and mostly thought about having to repair it.

The witness stopped a logging truck and trailer at a job site in the early morning to tighten straps. After noticing a rotten smell, the cab door shut and straps were yanked on the opposite side. Looking up, the witness saw a huge hairy creature with an elongated pointed head and sausage-like fingers watching and sizing him up. The creature backed away and bolted for the nearby treeline when another truck's lights appeared, and the witness later left trucking after being ridiculed.
