On separate occasions the child experienced a rock thrown past him near a creek, faint whooping, small trees moving together, a high scream-like whoop followed by a tree being pushed over, and the adults heard trees breaking and splashing into a pond. Dogs that normally chase sounds fled back to the house during these events.

One morning the headlights lit a tall slender hair-covered humanoid standing in the road. Together they watched a large mass behind trees, heard two knocks returned after hitting a fence post and had a fist-sized rock thrown over their heads, then saw the figure with arms around two trees rocking before it crashed away through brush as the third brother approached yelling.
