The next morning the dog refused to enter the tree line and the witness smelled a horrendous odor. On other nights a large bipedal presence was sensed in the tree line and something slapped the trailer.

In January the witness and a friend slept in a pickup near the site. At night they heard stick drumming back and forth, felt something push the door and slap the glass, and heard a food bucket being moved for about an hour. The audio recorder disappeared, and next-morning backpack video showed a figure ducking behind two trees by the truck.

A day or two after his friend's report, the witness went alone to the same overlook and called. Something answered and rapidly approached across the highway and up the hill. He retreated to his truck and while turning around saw it throw a large stick that dented the truck bed.

Researchers arranged antlers from a decorated tree into a pattern on the ground and mounted a camera. Overnight the pattern was scattered and antlers were carried far, some found far from the house. The camera was yanked down, and video showed an arm reaching out in the early morning, appearing massive and covered in dark curly hair.

The witness returned to a baited shack area with children. A very loud banging like gunshots struck the side of a shed three times. Shortly after, two similar bangs answered from another shack on a hilltop, frightening the children, and the group left.

Something followed him out, crossed the creek loudly, and a rock flew over his head. Later from the porch he heard a loud tree strike, saw movement running between houses, and next day found torn coyote remains and heard fences were down and dogs missing.

Four team members crossed a boardwalk toward an unusual island structure. Three large rocks splashed in the water on either side within about ten seconds from an unseen source in open visibility. Unable to locate the thrower, the group stopped and pulled back.

After hauling furniture late and leaving straps and ropes in the truck bed overnight, the guest found on morning break a pile of limbs and brush in the bed and all ropes and straps missing. He could not attribute it to known animals.

One December evening the guest noticed the uncovered kitchen window looked smoky gray all over instead of glossy black while his daughter washed dishes. When she left, the gray shape stepped aside. Next morning he found tracks about twelve feet from the window and a broken shingle with a tennis-ball-sized stone where his bedroom wall had been struck overnight.

On one occasion the guest saw the floodlight trip and watched a figure run beside the house into bushes with the lake beyond. When he went to look, something slapped the back of the house, which he interpreted as a distraction by another individual.
