Sasquatch sighting (1994)
When the witness was 11, he stopped to tie his boot while hiking down a mountain trail with family and friends and saw a large black hairy biped downhill about 50 feet away. The creature moved onto the trail to block him, dropped to all fours, made a low bellowing monkey-like sound and curled its lip. The witness fled uphill along the ridge for about two and a half to three hours while the creature paced him at a distance, shook brush and tossed sticks and a small log toward him, and was seen again briefly from the chest up. As rain began the sounds grew more distant, allowing him to return to the trailhead where a search had started, and he told family he had been chased by a bear.
Screams Heard While Camping in the Ocala National Forest
On the first night of a family camping trip in Ocala National Forest in summer 1994, the witness was awakened by a loud rattle of a bag of soda cans beside the picnic table. After she spoke, the rattling stopped and she then listened for a long period to loud, almost continuous distant screams to the north that she could not identify. In the morning nothing at the campsite was disturbed, and she did not hear the screams again the next night.
Sasquatch sighting near High Palm, California (1994)
While visiting family property, the witness and her partner found a very large human-shaped scat pile containing fruit pits. Later that evening while bathing alone, she saw a head with eyes watching her through a small high window and spoke to it thinking it was her partner. The next day no chair or woodpile was found that could explain someone seeing in, as the window was seven to eight feet off the ground.
Howl in Colorado (1994)
On the second night the guest and his friend heard loud howl-screams approaching rapidly from the valley below. As they ran for the car the guest fell, was helped up, and felt a stick hit his legs while glimpsing a dark crouched shape behind him. The friend reported seeing a tall hairy man-like creature close behind, and both fled, later concluding it was a Bigfoot.
Unidentified sound in Colorado (1994)
The guest and his friend were sleeping in a tent on the first night of a weekend camping trip when they heard sticks breaking and heavy movement approaching. Something pressed into the side of the tent by the friend's head and then moved down the side as if a hand dragged along it. Both fled to the car, saw nothing when they lit the area, and slept in the car.

The witness was trying to sleep in a van while two companions slept in a tent nearby. The van began rocking violently from side to side until the witness yelled, then the witness shone a flashlight outside and saw a hair-covered figure walking upright past the vehicle into the forest. A foul cesspool-like odor was noticed around the camp, and the companions said pebbles had been tossed onto their tent and something had brushed against it. The group built a fire, discussed what happened, and packed up to leave early.
Ginseng hunter recalls being terrified by a nighttime visitor on old mining property at the KY/VA border
Two companions were camping in remote steep woods while digging ginseng when they were awakened late at night by loud howls, screams, growls and chattering. Something shook trees and threw large rocks and small sapling trees into their camp for hours, retreating when the fire was built up and returning as it died down. At daylight they found saplings broken off and uprooted around camp and hiked out to the road.
Young man has sighting near home
The witness was looking after his girlfriend and her younger brother when the locked front door knob was jiggled. After leaving to call police from his parents’ house, he stepped outside with a flashlight and saw a tall off-white muscular human-shaped figure standing in the weedy field in moonlight. The figure vanished when he raised the light again, and he later found the weeds mashed down where it stood.

The witness and a relative were on their deck at night when their dog barked persistently at the woods edge. The witness approached and found a crouched hairy animal that then stood upright on two feet and ran into the woods, knocking down trees amid screaming. The group fled inside with children, and the next day found hair, footprints, and disturbed garden produce in the woods.
Large prints found in mud and then vocalizations heard south of Yakama Reservation
The witness drove to rented pasture to check fences where cattle had been getting out. He found a large tree knocked through the fence with strange hair on the wire, moved the tree and repaired the fence, then found very large fresh footprints in mud near a creek. He heard a grunt near the repair site and later a high-pitched scream from the same direction, found items tossed from his truck bed, then left and did not return.
Daylight encounter with firefighter near Skykomish
The witness, part of a two-person wildland fire crew, was descending a steep brushy slope after working a fire when a dropped shovel led him to a rocky ledge with a small cave. He noticed a foul odor at the cave entrance, then saw two rocks thrown from uphill that he concluded the companion could not have thrown. Looking uphill, he watched a dark hairy upright figure moving away through brush for a few seconds before it became still and silent, after which both men left and reported the incident.
Footsteps near Campbellsburg, Indiana (1993)
Eight high school friends were camping and sitting around a campfire when they heard steady footsteps climb a steep hill, stop at the crest, then sprint away. When two went to investigate a loud high-pitched scream stopped them. Later that night in the van a companion saw a hairy arm reach in the window and take food, which was found strewn toward the woods.
Woman recalls driving at night and feeling her car get shoved by a large biped near Steilacoom
Around 10 p.m. on a dark drizzly night in spring 1993, the witness was driving home on a two-lane road near Puget Sound after dropping off a friend. She felt a hard shove to the rear of her car pushing it into the other lane. Looking up she saw a very tall gray hair-covered biped walking upright away into the woods. She drove home terrified and later found no dent or scratch on the car.
Multible witnesses hear loud screams and have rocks thrown into camp near Cle Elum lake
The witness was camping overnight with other adults and about ten youths near a reservoir when golf ball to baseball sized rocks were repeatedly thrown into camp from late afternoon until morning. About ten very loud screams were also heard overnight from further along the shore. The group kept watch until daybreak and then left early, and the witness only years later associated the screams with alleged sasquatch recordings.
Sasquatch sighting in Pennsylvania (1992)
The witness was working with a pipeline crew exposing a remote valve site over three days. On the first day a coworker reported a dark figure walking on the cleared right-of-way up the ridge. The next day the witness hiked up the same ridge alone, heard two loud ground-shaking stomps followed by a very loud guttural vocalization, and fled downhill. The following morning the soiled sock the witness had discarded on the ridge was found placed on the backhoe track at the job site below.

While fishing alone, the witness noticed rocks landing in the water and first thought fish were jumping or someone was playing a trick. After throwing a rock back and hearing a thud instead of a normal impact, the witness heard a loud growl and a larger rock passed nearby. The witness ran back to the house without seeing anything.
Growl in Nova Scotia (1992)
The witness was sent to clean up his brother's campfire in a field behind the house. He heard a loud growl that he felt in his chest, then heard something crashing through the woods toward him. He dropped everything and ran to the house feeling it chase him on two feet, and the food was found scattered the next morning.
Hunter remembers possible howls and footprints near Baker City
Three hunters spread out in a draw heard a prolonged moaning-howling sound likened to a weak yell for help, with two of them also hearing a loud pop nearby. They traced the sound to a barbed-wire fence with freshly broken wire and torn-up ground but found no identifiable tracks. Returning to the same area the next morning, they found a large footprint in a cow patty which they linked to the previous day's sounds.

The witness was alone on a logging road stopping to eat huckleberries when loud noises were heard from upslope behind. Multiple large rocks were thrown toward the witness, with some hitting a tent set up near the road while the witness was inside. The witness left the area without ever seeing the source of the noises or rocks.
Sounds heard at Skookum Lake
The witness camped with three companions at a primitive site near Skookum Lake below a ridge. During the night the witness alone awoke to sounds described as large rocks tumbling down the ridge and later to heavy spaced footsteps moving into and out of camp. The companions reported hearing nothing and no footprints were found the next day. Years later the witness associated the sounds with Sasquatch after reading other reports from the area.
