A creature screamed and ran toward him, then appeared at his truck and climbed onto the bed. He shot it with a .22 Magnum above the eye, it fled screaming, and a large rock later struck his truck on a bridge as he drove out.

The witness heard surrounding animal sounds fall silent, smelled a skunk-like odor, saw a tall upright shadow on the tent wall and heard a grunt-like noise. In the morning the coolers had been ransacked, and the pair left the campground early the next night after feeling uneasy.

The witness parked his semi off the freeway to sleep around 3 a.m. with the truck off and windows open. He felt the truck shaken gently and then violently, then saw a large hairy upright creature take two strides into nearby young trees. After confirming all members were present, most of the group left early while about 10-15 stayed quietly until dawn as the sounds grew more distant.

They found a shredded shrub with branches piled like bedding, numerous freshly dug holes, and a stump holding freshly picked plants, all without frost. The sounds stopped after deep hooted calls and later receded to distant screams up the valley and across the mountain. Later, while in a tent, the witness saw the firelight blocked by a squatting silhouette that touched the zipper with five digits, with felt breath and strong odor, before withdrawing. In the morning the witness noted hairs and deep depressions on the trail.

Two friends drove into the Everglades park in the early morning and parked at a pine habitat to nap in their car. They were awakened by an ape-like animal looking into the tinted windows, touching the car, and then rummaging through a nearby dumpster for an extended period while emitting a strong rotten odor. The animal eventually walked away howling, and the witnesses drove to Flamingo where they reported the encounter to rangers.

The witness and a relative camped overnight in a remote lean-to shelter in a forested ravine. After going to sleep, both were awakened by repeated knocking and pushing sensations against the shelter that continued intermittently until about 3 a.m. The witness checked outside with a flashlight but saw nothing, and a morning search found no damage or tracks, so they left without staying another night.

While fishing alone from a boat in a cove in darkness, something struck the boat motor like a rock and splashed. The witness turned to see a large figure moving on the distant bank, possibly the thrower, but could not prove its identity.

The witness recalls odd activity while the family lived on the property in the mid-1990s and around 2001. Back doors were found open, wood knocks were heard, stick structures were seen, and something was heard walking beyond the treeline. No creature was clearly seen during this period.

The witness and a childhood friend drove trucks and ATVs deep into remote woods, then hiked to scout a spot for a homemade turkey blind. Two rocks came from their right, the first landing between them and the second seen in mid-air. The witness looked toward the throw and saw a large hairy biped under a white oak about 60-80 feet away from the knees up, which turned and left over a rise. They ran to the spot but it was gone, noticed a static-like charge, then hiked out uneasy.

Two companions hiked through dense brush to explore a quarry in the woods. While approaching and resting at the water they repeatedly heard very loud screech-like sounds and heard several large splashes in the water. As they climbed out and walked toward their vehicle, hard objects began striking the ground near them with increasing accuracy. They fled across a creek and out to their vehicle without ever seeing what produced the sounds or thrown objects.
