The witness was hunting hogs from a stand when he smelled a strong musky odor and climbed a ridge to investigate. Objects including a heavy rock were thrown toward him, with one landing at his feet. He then observed a very large dark fur-covered human-like figure through his rifle scope before it turned and walked away.

The witness and his wife were bedded down in their pop-up camper at night when they heard lapping sounds and their skillet rattling outside. The witness opened the camper door expecting a bear and saw a large dark upright shape about forty feet away moving swiftly into the timber. The camper shook strongly as the animal left while nearby dogs barked. In the morning no tracks were found and they could not recreate the shaking.

A witness camping with two relatives heard repeated whoop sounds and felt watched during an early-evening hike, then ran back to camp. Overnight the group heard heavy slow footsteps outside the tent, and around 4 a.m. noticed a strong foul dirty-animal odor. By morning the tent and tarp were found marked with a strong urine-like smell, and the tarp was left behind.

The witness was fishing from an anchored boat about 50 feet from shore late on a very dark night. Large rocks were thrown from a forested and inaccessible shoreline, with one barely missing the boat and a second seen hitting the water. The witness rowed back to the campground, where others reported hearing five splashes. A search of the suspected shoreline the next day found no footprints or other explanation.
A few witnesses see something reach through an open window in Mescalero N.M
The witness was staying with a companion in the living room of a relative's house late at night after a relative had reported a very tall figure outside. After hearing noises like objects being thrown in the dining room, the witness went to check and saw a large hand reach through the window, across a table, and take a bowl containing food. Those present were frightened and the witness called the conservation office, after which nothing further happened that night.

After being awakened around 1 a.m. by barking dogs and loud screaming and hollering sounds that lasted about ten minutes and came closer, the witness looked out a window and saw a tall hairy man-like figure standing at another window looking in. The witness hid, then later saw the figure walking away into the dark carrying something. A sour body odor was noticed during the presence, and deer jerky hanging on the front porch was missing the next morning.

The witness was walking with a dog on a gravel road through woods when she heard repeated banging like something striking a tree. Two rocks were then thrown from the woods and narrowly missed her as she hurried away. Near a bend in the road she heard a loud low growl followed by a scream and fled running. She later learned a family member had been home the whole time and days later saw a large oddly shaped footprint near the roadside.

Three family members were night-fishing from a riverbank lit by a lantern when large objects began splashing into the water upstream, landing progressively closer over about 12 to 15 minutes. They never saw the objects or the thrower and heard no movement despite listening and sweeping with a search light. They had earlier heard distant high-pitched screams, and after a final close splash threw spray onto the bank they left on ATVs. The account was submitted by a coworker of one witness, not by a witness directly.
Scream (2004)
The witness spent a spring day fishing and wading upstream alone. Near a recently fallen tree he encountered three dogs, one of which acted aggressively, then heard an extremely loud, powerful vocalization he could feel, saw riverside vegetation including a small tree whip and break, and had a stick splash down in front of him though no person was visible. He left the creek frightened.

Throughout spring 2004 the witness and several neighbors repeatedly heard what sounded like a bipedal creature walking through woods at night, often while area dogs barked intensely. Plants outside the witness's window were found repeatedly flattened and scratching was heard on a neighbor's house. In May the witness heard a loud distant scream described as a classic Bigfoot scream. The disturbances stopped abruptly in July.

The witness describes recurring strange noises around the family home shared with parents, including window banging, howls around dusk, growls, moans, grunts and rocks striking the house. During military wargame training in the woods, a squad heard a low growl and high scream and saw a distant figure they first mistook for opposing forces. After they called out, the figure stood to about seven to eight feet, was judged not human, and threw rocks toward them before running to the treeline. The group reported hearing strange sounds from the woods for the rest of the night.

A deer feed bucket was carried off and left a mess at the feeder area, and horses panicked and ran into fences. No creature was seen.

The witness and three companions took a late-night winter walk on game and recreational trails in the woods. On the way back they heard footsteps and branches breaking around them and something repeatedly threw snow or hard snow clods at them, while dogs barked nearby and a rank carcass-like odor was noticed. They jogged most of the way out, leaving around 3-3:30 a.m., and the witness believed deep snow ruled out a prank by a person.

The witness was hunting deer from a remote elevated blind on two consecutive mornings. After wildlife fell silent around 7 a.m., prolonged branch breaking and pounding on trees was heard for hours, a frightened hog fled the woods, a branch struck the blind, and deep growls were heard. On the second morning approach, something was heard walking alongside in the brush and a close growl was heard near the stand before the noises resumed at daybreak. Nothing was ever seen and no tracks were found.

The witness and a friend heard strange high-pitched screams on successive evenings while hunting. The friend also reported hearing something throwing objects around a treestand, and sounds described as wood hitting trees, sticks being thrown, whoops and screams. The witness did not see anything and interpreted the sounds as a Bigfoot displaced onto the property by nearby clearcutting.

Residents in a Campbell County community reported a large ape-like primate on the loose over several weeks in autumn 2003. One resident reported seeing the animal at close range, noting a strong odor, and said it threw a kitten toward them. Other reports described a home intrusion with scattered belongings, stool deposits on property, and many missing or dead cats and kittens. Animal control and the sheriff's department investigated and warned residents not to approach the animal.
Man describes encounter at a strip mine near Whitesburg
The witness was working overnight security at a remote strip mine and was resting in the guard shack during heavy rain. He heard crunching beside the shack, saw a shadow move toward the door, and something pulled on the door. After he shouted, he heard a terrifying screaming howl and the pulling intensified, so he heated a poker as a threat until it went quiet, then ran to his car where he remained the rest of the night.
Footsteps in Ohio (2003)
In September 2003 the witness and a hunting partner were coon hunting at night in a cornfield in Ohio with two hounds. The dogs went silent and their radio trackers gave no signal, then something large circled the men in the corn with audible running and heavy breathing. A large amount of foul-smelling clear slime splattered onto the partner, and the men retreated to the truck to find both dogs cowering underneath, unwilling to load.
