Possible activity and odd discoveries found by a Traditional Native American near Port Deposit
The witness and a friend were collecting molted eagle feathers near a swamp around sunset. They heard two very loud splashes close by that sounded like large rocks being thrown into the water. They pushed through overgrown vegetation to investigate and found a fresh path flattened through tall weeds but saw nothing. As they were leaving they heard distant chattering like talking, although they believed no one else was in the woods.

The witness family discovered their very heavy cable-spool picnic table missing from their yard. Along a path bordered by cornfield and forest they found places where the spool had been rolled and carried, along with very large human-like footprints. They later found the spool about a mile away where it had been tossed into a steep gully, and felt children were unlikely to have moved it over rugged terrain.

The witness's brother spent the night alone in a camper parked in the driveway. Around 1:30 a.m. he watched a shadow move across the curtained window and translucent roof, apparently cast by a neighbor's porch light, as something slowly circled the camper while lightly tapping its sides. The next morning the family found fingerprint smudges, a large handprint, and large toeprints in spilled sand.
