Camper hears something walking around her tent

The witness camped alone in a tent after car trouble forced an unplanned overnight stop. Around 11:10 p.m. the witness was awakened by something lifting and dropping the picnic table, banging a fruit bowl, circling the tent with loud heavy bipedal steps, and making human-like wailing sounds. The witness stayed inside in fear and later heard it cross the stream and climb the hill. Next morning the fruit was untouched but the table was damaged and large human-like footprints were found nearby.

The Database of Unexplained Encounters. Claims are recorded as claims: the Anomadex catalogues what people reported, where it was reported, and how sure I am that it was read correctly. It does not rule on what they saw.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
