The witness was watching television at home at night when a loud disturbance on the porch drew attention. Looking outside, the witness reported seeing a large white hairy creature holding a rooster, which it threw against the house before moving behind the house. The witness pursued it with a pistol and fired twice as it ran out of sight up a gravel road.

Fisherman observes large rock flung into Hamma Hamma River
While fishing alone upstream, the witness saw a large boulder moving through the air and splash into the stream about 30 feet away. He did not see or smell anything that could have thrown it, but felt uneasy and felt he was not alone. He quickly returned to the vehicle where his companion had been fishing downstream, and they ate and left.
