In the morning something slapped the cabin wall leaving an oily handprint, prompting them to leave.

During the next summer trip the witness and his uncle heard rocks hitting the cabin's tin roof, culminating in a basketball-sized rock rolling off. Later that night something bipedal circled the cabin, climbed the deck steps, breathed and grunted, and jiggled the door handle. Next morning they found large footsteps with a long stride leading away from the deck.

While packing in the morning the witness and the relative heard something rush the cabin and slap the side hard enough to vibrate it. The relative ran outside with a gun and found nothing, but photographed what looked like a large oily handprint on the siding. They left immediately afterward.

Later that night the witness lay awake in the cabin living room and heard loud bipedal footsteps circle the cabin and climb the deck steps. The witness heard deep breathing and grunting close to the door and the door handle jiggle, then the visitor jump off the deck and leave. Next morning they found a short trail of large steps leading from the deck into the woods.

The following summer the witness and the relative were cooking outside as the sun went down. They heard small tings on the tin roof as if rocks were being thrown, threw a rock back, and the impacts escalated. A rock described as almost basketball-sized struck the roof and rolled to the ground in front of them.
