Diary entry from 1882 describes screams and food disturbed

The witness and three companions were camped overnight during a berry-picking trip. Around midnight they were awakened by a loud scream, which was heard again the next morning while making breakfast and around 9 o'clock, at one point answering when the witness called out. Later that morning they found berries picked the previous day had been moved, the only sign of another presence.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
